Calling All Talented Kids! |
Talent
Show Audition March 16 th 2010
The annual Sundahl Talent Show is rapidly
approaching. Get your act together for auditions on
Tuesday, March 16th at 2:45 in the multi. There will be
limited space for solo acts, so try to find someone with
a similar talent and perform together. Acts should be no
more then 2 minutes in length.

We have had an increase of animals joining adults during
arrival and dismissal time. For the safety and
cleanliness of our campus, please remember that dogs
(or cats
J)
are not allowed on campus. Many students have health
issues with animals and in some cases are fearful of
animals. Thank you for either keeping your dog (or catJ)
at home or securely locked in your car during arrival or
dismissal time. Thank you for your continued support
and regard for our students and campus.
One
way bus passes may be purchased in
the school office. The cost is $3.00
per ticket – cash only. Checks are
not accepted. You may also order
them from the Transportation
Department.
It
is a very hectic time of year but please remember to
provide lunch money or a bag lunch for your student.
Many students have run out of money and are not able to
have a lunch – in that case they are provided with
crackers and milk. You can check your student’s balance
by going to
Meal
Time. You will need your student’s ID number which
may be obtained from the school office.

With the continued budget
cuts, the school is need of
various items. Each month in
the Dateline we will publish
a donation item of the month
that will be utilized for
the teachers, students and
office staff. If you would
like to contribute, please
drop off your donation in
the office. We thank
you for your continued
support.

RESPECT: Did you know
that, thanks to the
Carl Sundahl Foundation and Site
Council financial support,
students at Sundahl are the
only students in the
District to receive regular
classroom lessons from a
school psychologist? Some of
the topics of these lessons
include understanding of
feelings, communicating
appropriately when upset,
having empathy for others,
doing the right thing in
case of a bully, taking
responsibility for mistakes,
and being an optimist even
when there are problems.

School Safety Program |
Carl
Sundahl Elementary School
participates in the
WeTip School
Safety Program, which is a joint
effort by law enforcement, students,
families, and school district
personnel to provide a safe school
environment.
WeTip is an anonymous,
24-hour hotline for parents,
students, staff, and community
members to report school-related
crimes and suspicious incidents.
This includes vandalism, arson, drug
use, bullying, and theft. There is a
potential reward of up to $1,000 if
there is an arrest and conviction.
Please help keep our schools safe by
reporting suspicious activities
immediately. If you see something or
know something, call the police or
the WeTip hotline. Working together,
we can keep our students and schools
safe. If you or your child wants to
report a crime or suspicious
incident, call the toll-free number,
1-800-78-CRIME, at any time of the
day, 365 days a year. More
